So the first review is here and it is on a small town band with big town capabilities This Way Up!!

This Way Up are a 3 piece band from Falkirk and on playing their first gig outside Falkirk they done pretty damn well!! The band were slightly outnumbered due to the fact that the other two bands who were on with them that night were indie bands. It was obvious immediately that this band wanted to make a good impression on their first gig outside of Falkirk. The variety of songs was good, the stage presence was great and you really couldn't meet a nicer bunch of guys!! the variety of songs played were put across extremely well, with such a small stage to perform on the stage presence was massive. I think the bigger the venue the better these guys are going to get. I can't say too much about the audience, who were not in the slightest bit unappreciative. The crowd wasn't up too much i think mainly because the gig was played on a Wednesday night and these guys were coming from Falkirk. After their set the band happily posed for photographs (as seen in the picture page) so all in all Great show, Great performance, Great band, Great guys. 10/10 guys keep it up looking forward to Strawberry Fields on the 11th June!!!

DISTORTED MIND opened the show and their pod debute with a good set of melodic pop/punk/rock.A varied set with good strong vocals and harmonies .It is the vocal arrangements that take this band away from the standard pop/punk formulae.Entertaining and a decent bunch of guys.
