About Misguided Records

Misguided Records was originally a D.I.Y Record Label set up by The Declined as a way of releasing The Declined Records

Over the course of 2005 it has been expanded a wee bit to release compilations and do some split releases with other bands, its no a real record label mind so dinnae ask us to sign you or anythin!

Misguided Records is also falkirks newest premier promoter of live music nights

here at Misguided Records we organise the shows at falkirk's maist spot on local drinkin' hole, Firkins, and falkirks only weekend live rock night at Jacks Bar, which both start in full effect in June 2005, so be sure to check out the Misguided Artists as well as rakes eh other great bands their from the summer onwards.... all information can be found on the venue page

Spitroast
spitroast have developed a local reputation unique to others, while being slightly controversial, ridiculously catchy and virtually talentless all at the same time, spitroast's real genuine lack of giving a fuck about the "know it all" critics that have tried to bring them down time after time, has helped them remain a popular, lazy assed punk rock band with no morals or real ethics, but instead a complete love and passion for the fun they have (and cause) which has made them almost notorious around certain locals, one thing about spitroast, you tell them their shit, they'll only come back ten times more in your face than before!... with 4 guys who have a truely unbreakable bond with each other based around a similar outlook on life and an identical sense of humour, they'll just never seem to feel the need to give up laughing in the face of those who doubt them

Buzzbomb

Buzzbomb formed in 1997 out of a combined lust for B-movies, Ramones, Cramps, Social Distortion and the Misfits.  Their infamous blood, guts & fury style of delivery in their live shows quickly got the band labelled as "one of the best live bands in scotland" (as King Tuts, Glasgow defined them)

State of Affairs
State of Affairs have been playing together since the start of 2001.Starting as a 3 piece and then recruiting Scott McCrimmon as another guitarest in November and recording the 2 e.p`s "Holiday`s Harvest Days Happy Days" and playing in recording of "What Have We got?".S.O.A`s main influences come from bands such as Misfits The Clash and loads of old punk rock bands.Another line-up change occured in December 03 with Iain Hannigan taking over on second guitar. After writing some new tunes with "Handz"on guitar we went into the studio and recorded our new album in March 2004.The new album "Dead Genereation" was recorded at Clearwater Studios
